It’s very easy to be different, but very difficult to be better.

About Me

SOME WEE DETAILS ABOUT ME

I am a singular man of distinction and virtues; focused continually on Godly refinement whilst advancing in all aspects of life to fully become the gentleman my Lord and Saviour has created in me.

Princes and Lords are but the breath of kings, An honest man’s the noblest work of God.
– Scottish poet Robert Burns (1759-1796)

My character and good name are in my own keeping, and strive to never be defined by an ever changing sense of normality. It is my firm belief that the only true and genuine measurement of a man’s worth and success is solely based on his character.

Upon my professional life, it is my desire to be properly re-branded as a innovationist and designer. I never have less than one eye on the beyond. I crave the extraordinary, and with varying degrees of success, enjoy reshaping the adapt. I have a tremendous passion and devotion for the United Kingdom’s exceptional history, research and innovation. With an entrepreneur’s passion, I have been blessed with tertiary education that ranges across various disciplines, and I embrace the British “T-square” approach with all concepts, designs and challenges. For me personally, quality is the only sensible and desirable measurement, and nothing disappoints more than complacency of design and the bankruptcy of one’s imagination. It’s my desire that all my research begins with the natural and intuitive, and then rapidly shifts into a concept of inevitable and obvious.

It just remains for me to say… I interact and discuss research, design and innovation with other enthusiasts around the globe. I have a heart for helping others personally as well as professionally, so perhaps I am a species of a philanthropist.

Over the years, I have had the privilege, and continue to have the honour of working along side some of the most creative and talented minds imaginable. What I have also found is they share the same reverence I have for innovation, and the willingness to share creative thoughts and concepts.

How I Work

I participate within a creative collection of like minded people, whose talents range across a great number of disciplines of various descriptions. We live in a manufacturing world, where the types of products speak loudly to the values of the designer. I have learned over the course of interaction that change, for the sake of change, never answers well and that type of change lends itself to disappointing results.

People think focus means saying yes to the thing you’ve got to focus on. But that’s not what it means at all. It means saying no to the hundred other good ideas that there are. You have to pick carefully. I’m actually as proud of the things we haven’t done as the things I have done. Innovation is saying “no” to 1,000 things…
– Steve Jobs
